Suburban Suite is a modern 1 bedroom with fully private bathroom, private entry, workspace, and full kitchenette (hot plate, microwave, airfryer, toaster, Keurig + small fridge). Welcome to your PERFECT home away from home! Located on a safe, residential neighborhood in the heart of Whittier with plenty of shopping nearby as well as the Greenway Trail. The unit comes fully furnished with a memory foam full bed with plush duvet cover and soft sheets. When you need to work of enjoy a quick meal the room's desk and desk chair are perfect! For maximum comfort we have a cozy accent chair, black out shades/curtains, white noise machine/alarm clock, fan, wall mounted TV with Roku for you to log into all your streaming accounts.
THE KITCHENETTE: The kitchenette contains a 3.1 cu ft mini fridge with freezer, Keurig coffee maker, microwave, toaster, 2 sets of dishware (plates, bowls, cups, coffee mugs, wine glasses and silverware), wine and can opener, cutting board and knives. An air fryer and instant pot are available upon request. We also have a hot plate available with limited pans.
OTHER SUPPLIES: The unit contains 4 bath towels, 4 hand towels, 4 washcloths and 4 kitchen towels. Starter kit of trash bags, soap, coffee, and cleaning supplies provided. Tenant must provide such supplies after stater kit runs out.
CLEANING: Cleaning is available bi-weekly or monthly for an additional fee should you wish that it be professionally cleaned.
UTILITIES/PARKING: All utilities are included -- this includes fast wifi internet, gas, electric, water, trash removal. Parking is on the street are no parking restrictions on the street. It's a quiet street with single family homes; parking is almost always available right in front of the house.
COOLING/HEATING: The unit is temperature controlled at 68 degrees in winter/ 74 in summer. Guest will not have access to the central heating/cooling thermostat.
LIVING ARRANGEMENT: You'll has access to the back wing of the house which includes a private 1 bedroom with ensuite bathroom accessible via a private entrance in the rear of the home. The unit is connected to the rest of the house (connecting door locks) and is adjacent to the main house via the common area laundry room. Common areas shared with others include the backyard, patio area with seating and outdoor dining table, gas bbq, front yard, and laundry room.
ABOUT US: In the attached main wing of the house, seperate from the unit resides our family. We are a quiet family of 4 (both Biola Alumnai) with 2 elementary aged boys. We live in the main house, but you won't see much of us except an occasional soccer practice in the backyard. We have a quiet small dog and cat as well as backyard egg laying hens. We are looking for a young professional or student that doesn't mind ocassionally interacting with our boys and that generally likes dogs.
LEASE LENGTH: We are looking for a tenant with a minimum lease of 3 months, or more ideally.
